Police release identity of man killed outside barber shop

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have released the identity of the 34-year-old man who was shot and killed outside of a barber shop Thursday.

Police say Joshua Simpson was found dead outside of the Lewis Barbershop in the 800-block of Castle Street. There have been no arrests or charges at this time, but police say they brought a person in for questioning after the incident.

Police say the incident remains under investigation.
