CFCC Women’s Basketball defeats Brunswick Community College 91-32; improves to 19-2 on the season

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cape Fear Community College Sea Devils Women’s Basketball took on the Brunswick Community College Dolphins at the Schwartz Center on Wednesday.
The Sea Devils got a big lead and never gave it back. They won 91-32, winning both games this season against BCC. This performance lead to the Sea Devils scoring the most points in a game so far this season. CFCC Head Coach Taylor Todd-Williams said it’s about putting everything together just in time for conference play come March.
“I think it’s all about putting 40 minutes together. I think even in this game we started strong, came out kind of flat. So, those are things that we really gotta tweak, especially going into tournament time. I think going into conference tournament every bodies on the same playing field, so you really gotta come hard for 40 minutes,” Todd-Williams said.
CFCC moves to (19-2) on the regular season, (17-2) in conference play. BCC falls to (3-24) on the regular season, (2-19) in conference play.
