JH Rose Highschool football helmets stolen

GREENVILLE, NC (WWAY) — One of the most successful high school football teams in the state, is having trouble practicing, because they are missing helmets.
According to JH Rose athletic director Clay Medlin, 44 football helmets were stolen from the Ronald Vincent Fieldhouse over the weekend.
The replacement cost for these helmets is going to eat a large chunk of the football team’s budget.
Their first game of the season is Friday, August 23rd.
The team is going to borrow helmets from their junior varsity players and from some of the other teams while they work to replace the loss.
