Two arrested in Columbus County on gun, drug charges

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) – Two people have been arrested in Columbus County on gun and drug charges.

On October 27, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office VICE Narcotics Investigators concluded an investigation involving the possession of automatic weapons, suppressed firearms, and a marijuana grow operation in the Tabor City community with the arrests of Dustin Randall Duncan and Regina Earl Norris.

Norris has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Duncan faces multiple charges, including: Manufacturing Marijuana; Maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for the sale of a controlled substance; Possession with intent to sell or deliver (PWISD) Marijuana; Possession of a firearm by a felon; and two counts of possession of a weapon of mass destruction.

Duncan is currently being held without bond at the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

Norris received a secured bond set at $2,500.
