Dog rescued in apartment fire

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Fire Department rescued a dog from an apartment fire at Osprey Landing Apartments.

According to a WFD Facebook post, all residents were out and safe when they arrived on scene. Firefighters rescued the dog from a locked room and cleared the smoke from the apartment.

There were no injuries.
