Drainage upgrades coming to Brunswick County highway

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The portion of N.C. 133 (River Road) in Brunswick County is scheduled to close to traffic beginning on Saturday afternoon.

Signs, including “road closed” and “detour”, are in place. Drivers should be mindful of the detour and be cautious near the work zone.

The road is scheduled to reopen next September.
