Brunswick County residents do good deeds by helping stuck cars

BRUNSWICK COUNTY (WWAY)– Some good samaritans were out Thursday afternoon, helping vehicles stuck in snow banks.
Videos from a viewer, Anna Foley, show her husband and brother-in-law helping police vehicles and residents who slid into ditches due to the snow and ice on the road. This is at the intersection of Dogwood and Mt. Misery Roads.
Foley says the NCDOT temporarily closed the intersection to salt and scrape the road, but it’s back open for people to drive on, very slowly.
