Wilmington Police investigating accident involving pedestrian

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition Wednesday night.
According to a WPD news release, officers responded to the 3600 block of South College Road around 6:35 p.m. after a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck.
EMS transported the pedestrian to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where they remain in critical condition.
