Brunswick County Schools is celebrating their bus drivers

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Schools is shouting out their bus drivers during School Bus Driver Appreciation Week.

According to their Facebook, the Brunswick County Schools Child Nutrition staff and school PTOs prepared snacks for the drivers.

NCDOT says that there are currently 29,000 certified school bus drivers in the state, more than double the 14,000 school bus routes in the state.
