Drivers struggle on Highway 74/76 in Columbus County

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Road conditions have slowly gotten worse on the highways as emergency vehicles and plows have started trying to clear the roads.

Highway 74/76 had a good layer of snow on it, making the driving conditions harsh.

Many cars were pulled over to the side of the road until emergency vehicles or plows would go by to clear the way.

Some cars were stopped and emergency vehicles went to go help the drivers who were stuck.
