NHSO: Four arrested, 3 validated gang members, for trafficking heroin

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Four people are behind bars after New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office say they searched a home on Dapple Court and found more than 200 bags of heroin.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit assisted Probation and Parole on a search at 113 Dapple Court, Apt 303 Tuesday night around 7 p.m. Following the search, four people, three male validated gang members and one female were arrested on several felony heroin charges.

Kevin Freeman is charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, manufacturing heroin, maintaining dwelling, PWIMSD (possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver) heroin, possession of firearm by felon. Freeman is under no bond.

Garry Hines is charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, manufacture heroin, PWIMSD heroin, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of firearm by felon. Hines is under no bond

Jarrod Davis is charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, manufacturing heroin, PWIMSD heroin, possession firearm by felon, resisting public officer. Deputies say seven additional outstanding warrants were served. Davis is being held under no bond.

Saffiyah Eleazor is charged with two counts of trafficking heroin, manufacturing heroin, PWIMSD heroin, maintaining dwelling. Eleazor has no bond.

Deputies say approximately 206 bags of heroin, 5 grams of marijuana, and 1 handgun were seized.
