One person in custody after Wilmington store break-in

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police responded to a break-in at Queen Vape and Tobacco early Monday morning.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, the break-in took place in the 6000 block of Market Street around 4:00 a.m.

Officers later spotted people leaving the scene and attempted to stop them, which led to a vehicle chase to College Road, where officers now have one person in custody.

This is an ongoing investigation.
