Woman accused of accessory to murder after the fact plead guilty

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A teenager who was accused of accessory to murder after the fact, pleaded guilty in a New Hanover courtroom on Monday. 

Ali’Yonna Hutchins was 16 years old at the time of the offense and she’s now eighteen.  

She will serve an active sentence between 6 to more than 8 years in prison. 

The other suspect was 17 years old at the time when he allegedly shot and killed his cousin Adriana Hall at the Hawthorne Apartments at Oleander, located in the 3000 block of Adirondack Way, in 2023.
