Surf City event combines oysters, music, and conservation for a cause

SURF CITY, NC — Ocean Fest will host Oysterpalooza 2025, a community fundraiser combining fresh local oysters, live music, and eco-friendly activities, on Saturday, November 1, at Soundside Park.
The event brings together five local oyster purveyors, each serving signature coastal flavors. Adult tickets include 10 oysters, with additional oyster flights, raffle entries, and exclusive experiences available for purchase. Children 10 and under may attend for a discounted ticket but do not receive oysters.
The fundraiser directly benefits Ocean Fest’s philanthropic mission, “To Surf and Protect,” and helps fund its grant programs supporting coastal preservation, eco-education, and community engagement. Proceeds also help grow Ocean Fest 2026 and future programs.
Attendees can enjoy live performances from headliner BOMBARGO along with Oc3ans of Wilmington featuring Brooke Renshaw from American Idol and FUDGE of Wilmington, ensuring an energetic and family-friendly atmosphere.
Ocean Fest organizers say the event offers a unique way for the community to support environmental conservation efforts while enjoying local flavors, live music, and activities designed to promote awareness of coastal protection.
Tickets are available now, with all guests required to have a ticket for entry.
