Person died following vehicle collision in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A person died following a vehicle collision in Wilmington on Thursday.

A Chevy Tahoe and a Jeep collided at Troy Drive and Shipyard Boulevard a little after 5 p.m. and a pedestrian was struck.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, the pedestrian, 39-year-old Allen Pearce later died.

At this time, no charges have been filed. The incident is still under investigation.
