South Columbus Football head coach has resigned

COLUMBUS COUNTY (WWAY) —  A spokesman for Columbus County Schools has confirmed the resignation of South Columbus football head coach, Russell Dove.

He will remain at the school in another capacity.

Dove was hired as coach in January of 2016

The spokesman did not offer any information on why Dove resigned, or on a successor.
