One person dead after shooting in Carolina Beach
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Carolina Beach Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred early Saturday morning.
According to the Carolina Beach Police Department, officials responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 700 block of Harper Avenue just after midnight on Saturday morning.
One victim was located on scene and died from their injuries. One suspect has been taken into custody and is currently being processed.
Police say that this was an isolated incident due to both individuals knowing each other, and there is no threat to the public.
This is an ongoing investigation.
