Crash causing traffic delays in Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — On Wednesday, the Leland Police Department reported a crash causing a busy road to shut down, resulting in delays.

Police say US-74 East at the HWY 17 split is shut down due to the crash. Traffic is being diverted down 17 South as a result.

As of 4:30 p.m., motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes.

Leland Police Department also shared in the post that there are some injuries, so officers and emergency crews are on the scene actively working.
