Part of Wendover Lane to close for two weeks at the end of January

OGDEN, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Public Utility Authority says a portion of Wendover Lane in Ogden will be closed for two weeks while crews repair a sewer main.

The closure will start on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, starting at 7 in the morning.

Crews will close Wendover Lane to traffic in both directions between Darden Road and Feather Stone Court. Drivers are asked to use the detour via Bright Leaf Road.

CFPUA says the closure will remain in place through Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
