Portion of MLK Parkway closed due to icy roads

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police Department is warning drivers about icy road conditions and says Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway is now closed.

Police said MLK Parkway is closed from Third Street to North Kerr Avenue due to icing conditions.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use caution.
