Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — In an effort to support families struggling to keep food on the table as the cost of living rises, the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is aiming to fill the meal gap at a time when hunger relief organizations brace for deeper cuts to SNAP and Medicaid.

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is hosting a Pop-Up Market at Cape Fear Christian Church from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

8-12 pallets of food will be served over a two-hour period free to those in need.
