City of Wilmington to hold community painting day for buoy art project

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) –The City of Wilmington will host a Community Painting Day on April 11, inviting residents to transform recycled buoys into colorful public art.

The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the MLK Community Center and is open to all ages, with no experience required. Participants can personalize buoys that will become part of a public display celebrating creativity and community.

All materials will be provided, but space is limited. Attendees are encouraged to reserve a one-hour time slot in advance.
