WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Live jazz will once again fill the lawn of the Bellamy Mansion Museum this summer as the museum and the Cape Fear Jazz Society bring back the popular Jazz at the Mansion concert series.

The annual outdoor music series, which began in 2010, showcases locally, regionally, and nationally acclaimed jazz performers. Concerts will take place on the second Wednesday of each month from May through September at 6:30 p.m. on the Bellamy Mansion lawn in downtown Wilmington.

The 2026 series opens Wednesday, May 13, with a performance by saxophonist Darryl Murrill.

Additional performances throughout the summer include the El Jaye Johnson Quartet on June 10, Crescent Moon on July 8, FROG Project on Aug. 12 and Burning Bridges on Sept. 9.

Tickets are $25, with discounts available for Cape Fear Jazz Society members, students, and active military members. Organizers said concerts are weather permitting, and tickets will only be available at the door with no advance sales.

The concert series is supported through an Arts & Culture grant from the Arts Council of Wilmington and The Endowment. Additional sponsors include WHQR, the family of Carol Bohrer and Kohut, Adams and Randall, P.A.
