Tabor Correctional Institution to host hiring event for correctional officers June 23

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — Job seekers interested in a career in public safety will have an opportunity to explore employment opportunities at Tabor Correctional Institution during a hiring event scheduled for Tuesday, June 23.

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking candidates for both full-time and part-time correctional officer positions at the Tabor City facility. Officials say applicants hired into full-time correctional officer roles may be eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

The hiring event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tabor Correctional Institution, located at 4600 Swamp Fox Highway West in Tabor City.
