UNCW Swimming & Diving announces 2026-27 schedule

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The UNCW Swimming & Diving team will face a challenging slate during the 2026-27 season, including home meets against three Power Four opponents, head coach Bobby Guntoro announced.

The Seahawks open the season on Sept. 25 by hosting South Carolina at Allen Natatorium.

UNCW’s early home schedule continues with Virginia on Oct. 10. The Cavaliers’ women’s team has won the last five NCAA national championships, while the men’s team finished ninth nationally last season.

The Seahawks will host a Diving Invitational on Oct. 23-24, followed by a home meet against NC State on Oct. 23. The Wolfpack’s men’s and women’s teams both finished in the top 10 at the 2025-26 NCAA Championships.

UNCW wraps up its home schedule on Oct. 30-31 with Senior Weekend against Gardner-Webb.

The Seahawks will travel to the Queens Fall Frenzy in Charlotte from Nov. 19-22, while the diving team competes at the Patriot Invitational hosted by George Mason during the same weekend.

Spring competition begins Jan. 8 with a quad meet against William & Mary, Old Dominion and Richmond in Williamsburg, Virginia. The regular-season finale is set for Jan. 29-30 at Queens.

The Seahawks will compete at the CAA Swimming & Diving Championships in Hampton, Virginia, from Feb. 24-27. The UNCW men’s team enters the season seeking its sixth consecutive conference championship.

The NCAA Zone B Diving Regional is scheduled for March 8-13, followed by the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas. The women’s championships will be held March 17-20, with the men’s competition March 24-27.
