CFCC’s Wilson Center adds to events to fall schedule
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College is adding two productions to its 2026-2027 PNC Broadway and the Beach Season.
Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python’s Spamalot will come to the Wilson Center for three performances November 7-8, 2026. The interactive Singalong Broadway is scheduled for October 14 at 7 p.m.
The additions make the upcoming season the largest Broadway season in the Wilson Center’s history, with nine Broadway musicals and two bonus productions.
The 2026-2027 season also includes Waitress, The Book of Mormon, A Beautiful Noise, The Wiz, Water for Elephants, Mystic Pizza, Shucked and Jersey Boys. Leslie Odom Jr.’s The Christmas Tour is also included as a season add-on.
‘Monty Python’s Spamalot’
Monty Python’s Spamalot will be performed November 7-8 for three shows.
The Tony Award-winning Best Musical is based on the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail and features a book and lyrics by Eric Idle, with music by Idle and John Du Prez.
The production follows King Arthur and his quest for the Holy Grail, featuring characters and songs from the original film and musical.
Existing Full Season and Build Your Own Broadway subscribers with at least three shows can add Spamalot to their subscriptions and receive 10% off tickets.
‘Singalong Broadway’
Singalong Broadway is scheduled for October 14 at 7 p.m.
The interactive production features Broadway songs, medleys, solos, games, comedy and audience participation. The Wilson Center says attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Broadway characters.
Songs featured include “Defying Gravity,” “Seasons of Love,” “One Day More” and “You Can’t Stop the Beat.”
The production is an optional add-on to the PNC Broadway and the Beach Season. Existing Full Season and Build Your Own Broadway subscribers with at least three shows are eligible for 50% off tickets.
Tickets for Monty Python’s Spamalot and Singalong Broadway are currently available to Wilson Center members and PNC Broadway subscribers.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public Thursday, August 20, at 10 a.m.
The Wilson Center advises patrons to purchase tickets only through WilsonCenterTickets.com to avoid scams.
Waitress, The Book of Mormon and Leslie Odom Jr.’s The Christmas Tour are already on sale, with the remaining productions scheduled to go on sale on a rolling basis.
