WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The annual Taste of Wrightsville Beach food festival is returning Saturday, Nov. 14, bringing together local restaurants and vendors to raise money for Weekend Meals on Wheels of New Hanover County.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. under a tent in the parking lot of Bluewater Waterfront Grill, located at 4 Marina St. in Wrightsville Beach.

Organizers say the festival will feature more than 35 food and beverage tasting booths, offering samples from local restaurants and vendors. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite offerings through People’s Choice awards, while a panel of judges will select additional winners.

The event will include live music and a charity silent auction, along with beer, wine and spirits tastings and sales.

All net proceeds will benefit Weekend Meals on Wheels of New Hanover County, a nonprofit organization that provides meals and social contact to older adults on weekends and other days not covered by the county’s weekday home-delivered meals program.

The festival is sponsored by MegaCorp Logistics, with Bluewater Waterfront Grill providing the event location.

General admission tickets cost $100 for adults and $25 for children. Organizers say ticket availability is limited, and tickets may not be available on the day of the event.

Tickets can be purchased online.

The event will take place rain or shine. Parking is available in surrounding areas of Wrightsville Beach, although organizers recommend using a taxi or rideshare service.
