LELAND, NC– As the tropical storm advances, Ace Hardware in Leland is preparing for increased demand. The store set up its storm essentials, but foot traffic has been slower than expected.

There have been notable purchases related to storm preparation.

Customers have been buying key items such as flashlights, propane tanks, and tarps—essential components of any storm kit.

Sales Associate Andy Noland commented on the current situation, expressing hope for more activity:

“I’d like to see a lot more people coming in here being a lot more aware of this system coming in. So, it’s hopefully going to get a little more busy,” said Noland.
