Aerial photo of Battleship NC entered in online contest
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Your clicks could earn the USS Battleship NC $15,000.
Mike Wohlfarth, owner of Sky is the Limit Aerial Photography, recently entered a photo of the battleship to The Weather Channel’s “It’s Amazing out There” photo contest. The contest wants both amateur and pro photographers to share their most spectacular photos of nature, adventure and weather.
If Wohlfarth wins the contest, he says he will donate the $15,000 prize money to the battleship.
He says, “It would be awesome for something in Wilmington to win the prize as well as get some publicity for such a cool tourist site and an awesome piece of history!”
