WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The All Things Groovy Hippie Fest was held at Waterline Brewing Sunday afternoon.

The festival welcomed hundreds of attendees and dozens of vendors selling everything from crystals to tie dye shirts. But of course, it wouldn’t be a hippie fest without a visit from some vintage Volkswagen vans as well.

Downtown ILM Market Owner Bethany Carpenter organized the festival. She said this is the festival’s third year at Waterline Brewing.

“We always get such a good turnout at this event,” she said. “It is so fun. We rotate vendors too so I feel like people love to come every year, see the different businesses we have out here, and I think we’re going to get some extra traffic today from the VWs as well.”

Downtown ILM Market hosts one themed festival a month. To stay up to date with future festivals, you can follow them on Facebook.
