AMBER ALERT: Authorities search for abducted 3-year-old girl

SPRING LAKE, NC (WTVD) — An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 3-year-old child in Harnett County.

Zy’Rah Nicole Holliday is a black female, approximately 3 feet tall, and weighing 35 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was clothed in a black shirt with flowers and the word “Love” on it with black jogging pants.

She was allegedly taken by 20-year-old Daquan Seandre Thomas. Thomas has been taken into custody, Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats said Tuesday afternoon.

The sheriff said Thomas lived at the home with two children and the mother but they were not married.

He is the father of one of the two children, an 11-month-old boy.

Coats said the boy was found about 10: 45 a.m. at a family member’s house. He had minor cuts and bruises.

Zy’Rah remains missing. The FBI is assisting with the search.

Thomas is charged with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse. More charges are pending.
