Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day returns to Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Kiwanis Club of Wilmington will hold their 51st Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day on Saturday.

The event will be held in the cafeteria at John T. Hoggard High School located at 4305 Shipyard Boulevard starting at 7 a.m. until noon.

Tickets for this all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage meal will be available at the door. Adults are $10 and children are $5. Each ticket will include entry in a raffle for a Gents Seiko Divers Watch from Kingoff’s Jewelers.

All proceeds benefit youth programs in our community including Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina which the Kiwanis Club has funded since 1920 and scholarships at Cape Fear Community College and UNC Wilmington.

Kiwanis Club President Steve Woodaed said, “Our Pancake Day event is the most important fundraiser of the year for our club. This club has a long history of providing major support for children in our local community.”

The Kiwanis Club of Wilmington celebrated their 105th anniversary this year.
