Another downtown bridge to close for repairs

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington city spokeswoman says North Fourth Street will be closed between Campbell and Hanover streets Thursday into Friday morning.

Malissa Talbert said in a news release the area will be closed from 9:00 a.m. Thursday to 9:00 a.m. Friday to repair the bridge. She said completely closing the bridge is necessary, so work can be finished before the Azalea Festival and before the North Third Street bridge closes for work Monday.

That bridge will be closed for at least a year, according to the DOT.
