Armed robbery on Market St.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — According to Wilmington Police, there was an armed robbery last night just at 12:00 a.m.

The robbery happened at 2403 Market St. at the Forest Hills Food Market. Police say the suspect was armed with a small hand gun.

WPD says the suspect is a black male, about 5’8″, with a slim build. Police say he was seen wearing a black puffy hoodie with fur around the hood, dark blue jeans, and black shoes.

Police say the suspect got away with an unknown amount of money and got away on foot.
