UPDATE: Surveillance pictures released in armed robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Wilmington business.

It happened at around 12:30 a.m. at the Kangaroo Express in the 2300-block of S. 17th Street. Police say two men with their faces covered entered the business, showed handguns and stole money and cigarettes. Police say the suspects then ran from the scene.

The suspects were described as black males, skinny-build and possibly in their 20s. Police say the pair could be linked to another armed robbery that happened a week ago at the Walgreens on S. 17th Street.
