AZALEA GARDEN TOUR: 102 Forest Lane

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Magnolia Farms is truly a hidden gem, and it’s stop number one on this weekend’s Azalea Garden Tour.

Tucked behind the entrance wall at 102 Forest Lane is a 20-acre equestrian estate, which is like two entire gardens in one stop.

That includes the barn and horse farm, where the horses enjoy their time in the pasture.

Back in her own yard, Suzanne Edwards had created a garden full of whimsy and delight.

Although she’s only been gardening for five years, her garden is very close to her heart, because this property was handed down from her grandmother.

“And this also was my grandparents’ property,” Edwards said. “They didn’t do the horses, but it was my granparents, so I just think my grandmother would love this if she could see this now.”
