AZALEA GARDEN TOUR: 2312 New Orleans Place

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Fran Summerlin has been gardening her entire life and truly loves the work.

She prefers to spend time in the garden every day that she can and looks forward to getting into the dirt.

Over the years she’s expanded the garden for more and more people to enjoy, namely her grandchildren, who have their own art shed out back. She hopes that everyone who stops by loves her garden as much as she does.

“You walk around and say ‘I love my garden, but will other people love my garden?’. So I’ve worked very hard to incorporate some art and some other ideas trying to fluff it out a little bit.”
