Baseball season ends for Wilmington Post 10 after three straight losses in playoff series

HOPE MILLS, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Post 10 led the Area II South playoff series two games to none, but Hope Mills rallied for come from behind wins on Saturday, Sunday and Monday to win the playoff series 3-2.

Post 10 took an early 1-0 lead on Monday in the decisive game 5, but Hope Mills tied the game in the 3rd inning. Hope Mills added a run in the 8th and they ended up holding on for a 2-1 victory. Hope Mills will advance in the American Legion state playoffs. The season is now over for Post 10.
