BCSO deputy and K9 win top title in national trials
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office deputy and his K9 had a great finish at a competition earlier this month.
Cpl. Matthew Chism and his K9 partner Ajk placed first at the recent United States Police Canine Association Region II trials.
The National Detector trials tests the abilities of several canine breeds to sniff and detect narcotics, explosives and cadavers. The two were the top team in the Vehicle Search Narcotics event.
Congratulations, you guys!
