Bellamy Mansion Museum hosts Family Fun Day

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Bellamy Mansion Museum held its annual Family Fun Day on Sunday. 

The free family friendly event had a great turnout this year, with the historic grounds of the Bellamy mansion hosting pony rides, a petting zoo, live music, storytelling and more. The museum is also celebrating 30 years of existence this month. 

Director of Education and Engagement Jen Fenninger said she is glad to see the event grow year after year. 

“We have a lot of people here right now. I think we’re shocked every time that we’re like ‘oh my gosh there’s more people,’ but we’re so excited. We love when people take advantage and get o know us a little bit. You know, we’re always here and excited for people to come and visit us,” she said.
