Bitty & Beau’s Coffee reschedules 10th anniversary celebration again due to weather
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — With a winter storm threatening the Cape Fear, Bitty and Beau’s Coffee decided to postpone their 10th anniversary celebration for the second weekend in a row.
Bitty and Beau’s says they are not giving up on the celebration, and they’ll release the new date soon.
The celebration was originally scheduled for January 25 but with the threat for ice the coffee shop moved it to February 1.
The company was founded in 2016 by Amy and Ben Wright in honor of their two youngest children, Bitty and Beau, who both have Down Syndrome.
The coffee shop was created to place people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in customer-facing roles.
