Bladen Community College to host small business expo later this month

DUBLIN, N.C. (WWAY) — Bladen Community College will host a small business expo later this month aimed at connecting entrepreneurs and supporting local economic growth.
The Bladen County Small Business Expo is scheduled for April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college auditorium.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring together startups, small businesses and established companies from across the region for networking and collaboration.
The expo is a partnership between Bladen Community College, its Small Business Center and the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
Organizers said the event is intended to strengthen the local business community by encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
The expo will include a seminar titled “How to Start a Business the Right Way” beginning at 8:30 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 10 a.m. Additional activities include the Pitch It Bladen County awards ceremony.
The event is open to businesses across multiple industries, including retail, food service, construction, professional services, health and wellness and nonprofits.
Vendors will be provided booth space with a table and chairs, and will be promoted as part of the event, according to organizers.
Food trucks and the campus deli will be available during the expo.
The registration deadline for businesses is April 22.
