BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Bladen County recently welcomed a new display outside of the county courthouse that shows the nation’s founding documents.

The permanent display holds full-scale replicas of the Declaration of Independence, US Constitution, Bill of Rights, the Civil Rights Amendments. The display was created by the nonprofit Charters of Freedom.

Similar displays can be found across the state, including outside of the Brunswick County courthouse. Chairman of the county’s board of commissioners, Charles Peterson pushed for the display to be installed.
