Bladen County man left disfigured after nose biting incident

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Bladen County man was left disfigured after a woman bit his nose and stabbed him with a screwdriver, according to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office says that deputies responded to a call on November 4th from a volunteer at White Oak Fire Department reporting that a vehicle had just pulled up with a man and woman inside.
The man stated that he was actively being assaulted by a woman inside his vehicle. Deputies arrived on scene and found the man with severe injuries to the head and face.
The man was immediately transported to Cape Fear Valley in Fayetteville, where he was treated and released days later.
Investigators began interviews at which time it was determined that the woman, Sandra Davis, 53, was the aggressor, as she had partially bitten the victim’s nose off as well as stabbed him multiple times with a screwdriver.
Davis was charged with Felony Attempted First Degree Murder, Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, Felony Maiming without Malice, Felony Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury, and Misdemeanor Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Davis is being held with no bond.
