Bladen County Sheriff’s Office begins investigation after shots fired into Riegelwood home

RIEGELWOOD, NC (WWAY) — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shots fired incident.

On Friday, Jan. 31 around 3 a.m., Bladen County 911 received a call of shots fired on Carter Road in Riegelwood.

Deputies found the home had been shot multiple times. Five people were found inside the home with no injuries.

This is considered an open investigation.
