Bladen County’s Lu Mil Vineyard prepares for ‘the most wonderful time of the year’
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — One attraction is preparing for ‘the most wonderful time of the year.’
In Elizabethtown, at Lu Mil Vineyard, the Taylor family and their elves are inviting folks back to their family farm for the 16th Annual Festival of Lights.
There’s fun for all ages. On top of the three-mile drive-thru light show, there’s a country buffet dinner, free wine tasting, an old-fashioned candy shop and so much more.
Ten percent of all muscadine jelly purchases and all donations made through Lu Mils wishing well will go towards Bladen County Hospital Foundation Fund for underinsured mammograms.
Karla Ward is Lu Mil’s Business and Market Developer. She said every year, her and her team try to incorporate as much Christmas magic into their busiest season as possible.
“The smiles and expressions on children’s faces when they light up, when the lights light up—that makes us light up, that makes me light up,” Ward said.
You can plan to visit the Festival of Lights from 6-to-10 p.m. on weekends. It is $10 per person with ages 5 and under being free.
