Bladenboro curfew lifted

BLADENBORO, NC (WWAY) — According to Bladen County Police Chief Hunt, the curfew has officially been lifted in Bladenboro.

Bladenboro residents were under a mandatory curfew until around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

According to Bladenboro Police Chief Chris Hunt, the mayor declared the curfew starting 9 p.m. Saturday night.

The Chief says the curfew was in place due to flooded roads. Residents were advised to stay at home for their safety. Flooding in the area is still a problem for residents. Avoid driving in water you cannot see the road through.
