Bladenboro man arrested after drug investigation near West Bladen High School

BLADENBORO, NC (WWAY) — A Bladenboro man was arrested after an investigation stemming from community complaints near West Bladen High School.
The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office says after several hours of surveillance and controlled purchases of fentanyl and methamphetamine were conducted 47-year-old Keith Brisson of Bladenboro was arrested.
Brisson was arrested on Wednesday and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule II CS and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver CS within 1000 feet of a school.
Brisson was originally held at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office with no bond but after his first court appearance the judge set his bond at $500,000 due to an extensive criminal history.
The sheriff’s office says this investigation is ongoing and more charges may come at a later date.
