Bladenboro man has additional charges of child exploitation

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Additional charges have been filed against a Bladenboro man in a sex crime case.

According to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, back in October, deputies took Timothy Jacob Smith, 30, into custody for felony second- and third-degree charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.

With an extensive analysis of his electronic devices now completed, Smith is now charged with additional counts of the same two charges and is being held under a $105,000 secured bond.
