Boil water advisory issued for part of Columbus County

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A boil water advisory was issued for customers within Columbus County Water & Sewer District I, due to emergency repairs to the Columbus County Public Water Supply System.

Customers from 21869-22876 Peacock Road, 17-328 Kenny Jordan Road, 63-2304 Will Inman Road, Woodview Drive, 2752 Mollie Iron Hill Road, Smith Avenue, and 128-2312 Miller Road.

Anyone that experiences discolored water are asked to contact the afterhours phone number; 910-770-2158 to report concerns.

It is recommended that people should boil water and let it cool prior to consumption for 24 hours.
